I am thrilled to be hosting The Bay Collage Club's fourth free collage social event, celebrating World Collage Day 2025. For the first time, I shall be hosting in our neighbouring town of Birchington, at the fabulous Wagtails Cafe & Bar.
Free Entry: Join me for an afternoon of artistic fun at no cost!
All Materials Provided: I’ll have everything you need—papers, magazines, scissors, glue, and more—so you can focus on creating.
Expert Guidance: I will share my own work and offer guidance throughout the afternoon, ensuring everyone feels inspired and supported.
Community Connection: Meet new friends and collaborate with fellow creatives while enjoying delightful refreshments in a cosy atmosphere.
Please Note: I kindly ask that participants purchase a drink or two at the bar to support the wonderful venue.

This event is hosted by the East Kent Art Society and is open to members and non-members alike.
Coinciding with Le Weekend, this FREE event welcomes artists of all levels to showcase their talent in the picturesque surroundings of Sandwich.
Simply turn up on either or both days, no booking required
Paint anywhere in Sandwich at your leisure
Display completed work at the EKAS gazebo framed or mounted on own easel
All exhibited works must be your own and completed during the weekend
Participants to complete a provided sales label for each piece
East Kent Art Society will handle all sales and participants agree to 10% commission
All participants to collect unsold works by 4:30pm
Please note, no liability is accepted by EKAS for paintings or artists' property
Participants are responsible for own insurance
As secretary and a member of EKAS, I am excited to be participating on Sunday 8th June. Come and find me at the gazebo with my finished piece in the afternoon!

The East Kent Art Society sponsored Open Exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for artists to showcase their artwork to the public.
Artist can submit up to 3 artworks of any medium or size for just £2 per piece. 10% commission will be applied to any sales with a percentage of the proceeds going to the RNLI.
The exhibition will run from Saturday to Monday, with artists collecting any unsold work on Monday afternoon.
If you are not looking to submit your own work it's a great opportunity to support local artists and immerse yourself in the vibrant arts community. Whether you're an art enthusiast, a collector, or simply looking for some inspiration, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
I shall be exhibiting myself and would love to see you there and appreciate your support in making this event a success. Feel free to bring along friends, family, or anyone else who may be interested in experiencing the creativity of our local talented artists. We look forward to welcoming you.

MAHL is a small informal group of East Kent based artists and friends, who have been exhibiting together since 2012. They bring together a collection of sculptures, prints, oils, watercolours and collage.
From their first exhibition at the Horsebridge Gallery in Whitstable, they have since held a succession of exhibitions at regular intervals, have been represented in major National Exhibitions and can be found in International and National private and public collections. Their work is well received, winning National and International awards.
I am honoured to have been welcomed into the MAHL group this year to exhibit with them for the first time. I will have new magazine collage work from my Kent Coast collection on display for sale. Please come along and show your support!

Beach Creative thought they’d have a bit of fun, and have their own Summer Show. It was suggested that people could enter our own RA rejections, which would be perfectly acceptable!
How do we decide what is 'good' art? Whose opinions matter the most? Why do we strive to create in the first place? The Beach Creative summer open show plays on themes of judgement and rejection, encouraging artists to put their 'best' works forward, especially ones that have faced rejection from prestigious institutions such as the Royal Academy of Arts.
I am thrilled to announce that my Herne Bay Clock Tower collage from my early Herne Bay Series is being featured in the exhibition alongside paintings by my lovely friend Jeremy Keeping @oldtreeart21.

As a new member of the East Kent Art Society (EKAS), I am excited to announce my participation in the Annual Summer Exhibition, taking place from June 23rd to June 30th at St Mary's Art Centre in Sandwich. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase my artwork alongside 70 other EKAS member exhibits at this year's exhibition.
From oil paintings to coloured pencils, there will be a diverse range of artworks on display for art enthusiasts and visitors to enjoy.
